Going to the Grand Canyon, eh? Well, don’t eat the pizza in that town. It sucks.

I went, and hearing that the pizza sucked, avoided eating pizza.

superb! I stayed at the Best Western there, and it was probably the most awful pizza of my illustrious pizza eating career

Haha (illustrious pizza eating career)
I stayed at Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel (I think). I had the lowest of low expectations (It was only a 3-STAR! I never stay in 3-Star hotels!), but it ended up being pretty great!
Also, the parking lot had four 4Runners.
FOUR 4RUNNERS.

4x4runner= 16runner?

Lol.
Once, my mind jumbled up 4Runner and Rav-4, and I said Runner4 (face palm).
The rental guy kept calling it the Highlander, and I really wanted to correct him, but decided not to.

Never understood why Toyota decided on those names. They’ve always felt kinda clunky to pronounce and I can’t figure out what they’re supposed to mean. Does 4 runner mean 4wd? But then what is a “Rav 4?” Surely that’s not a 4wd reference

Exactly. Still, the Japanese names are weirder still.
